mohawk/onieda

Even though I am as white as they come, I hame half native, and am proud to be so. I am mohawk and Onieda ( both iroquis tribes). My family is located near the black river in quebec, and the surrounding area. It is unfortunate that there is almost no information about there belives and culure. The only thing i can find out is their settlements, how they lived, and that they used to eat the hearts of there enemy. I would like to ask some of my family, but most of them never really aknowlege their roots. The say they are too proud and know for themsleves, so they dont have to talk about it all the time ( thats the impression that I get). Are there any mohawks on here??? If im lucky enough is there anyone on here from quebec or mabey even from around my falilies land??

People: The Iroquois enjoy a rich and varied culture that is more of a melting pot. My girlfriend is half Indian and i have always had Great Respect for Indian Culture. I feel so connected to Native Indian Tribes possibly because they were not influenced by outside societies. I have also felt Native Indian Spirits around me many times during the past 4 years of my life. I found this Video hope you Enjoy it Canadian.
