Spiritual Mounatin

Spiritual Mounatin
I like the picture of a mountain as an analogy for our spiritual life. It is a continual climb to reach the peak of our spiritual potential and many people at the bottom know little about the wonderful heights up above.

The spiritual life is virtually invisible to our normal senses, which is why great spiritual teachers have used parables, symbols and metaphors to speak about this indescribable world of the spirit. These teachers also climbed mountains to get away from busy crowds in order to encounter God directly. Somehow mountain heights make our Creator more visible to our senses and souls.

Would you be willing to climb your spiritual mountain?

Many Blessings

I believe that the Truth can be found on the top of that mountain. This mountain is the tallest of them all. Dedication and self-discipline are important tools to have in order to rich the top. It is not easy but it is truly worth it. I am looking at it as an adventure and the things we learn on the way, ultimately lead us to that truth and freedom.
I am more them willing to climb that mountain and I am glad to know that God is there to help me every step of the way.

Beautiful Picture what is the name of this mountain?

I am thinking Himalayas but i remember the pictures i have seen of them with snow at the top.

I am hoping one day before i leave this earth i may actually climb a mountain and meditate at the top. I also feel there is a great connection to spirit climbing great heights.

Many Blessings

You cannot decide to climb a mountain without some cost involved. Your commitment will determine if you achieve the top or not. Are you going to push thru even when you have lost sight of the top?
Are you doing whatever ‘fitness’ training you can so that you are able to climb? In the same way a natural trainer has to physically train his body for climbing a mountain, so you must train your soul.
Yes this will cost. Sometimes it will will cost you family and friends. It will take up your ‘personal time’ .At the top of the mountain the view is awesome. At the top of the mountain you encounter the glory of God the Father and Jesus, the Son, in all His might, power and splendour.

to me it's the effort involved
the huffing and puffing....the living
and the time it takes to get there
and the lesson learned
that is an accomplishment nurturing
your soul then....
you climb down achieving again
only to .....

you've got it.....

to do it all over again ....LOL

Thank You
