Believing

Post by Spirit-Being on July 6th 2009, 7:42 pm

I want to go back to believing in everything and knowing nothing at all

I still remember the world
From the eyes of a child
Slowly those feelings
Were clouded by what I know now

Where has my heart gone
An uneven trade for the real world
I want to go back to
Believing in everything and knowing nothing at all

I still remember the sun
Always warm on my back
Somehow it seems colder now

It’s a beautiful poem and reminds me of the words of Jesus “unless you become as this little child”. Life were a lot more interesting when I was a kid. Children easily believe things they are told for the first time. They live in the world that is exiting, full of wonder. A pile of sand becomes a castle with queens and kings, knights and dragons and as far as they know its real and its fun. Our current knowledge of this world prevents us from truly believing. Jesus said if you have faith of a mustard seed you can move mountain? Children believe what adults consider impossible. But what is impossible? Really, I look at the earth the stars the universe and everything I see but what about things I don’t see? I don’t think there is a limit of what is possible.

Great Poem Thumb

Well said luda

There is nothing impossible except the limits of our minds.

"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe."
