Yes, welcome back Sunmystic. You have been missed in the interactions here....
Good to have you back and incidentally your comments reminded me of....

Jung's The Symbolic Life

~*~

Be Well
Elrick

Thank you Elrick, the problem with attempting to explain something to others is that if they have not experienced what you are talking about, in some sense of the word experience, then it is hard for them to understand what you are saying Smile . I have experienced what Jung is talking about, I would use different words to explain things, but I do understand what he is saying.

I have been a solitary mystic for the greater part of my life and have never studied under any school of thought or under a guru, so sometimes I fit into a particular niche and sometime I don't. I do not want to be a guru with a following, to me that goes no where. I do have a lot of knowledge based on experience and if that knowledge can help some others in some small way, which one of your Admins suggested to me in an e-mail, then I should give it a try.

beautydylan this message board is not a dog eat dog reality like a lot of other message boards Smile so anyway nobody is going to think that anything that you are interested in is silly.

At the moment I'm just exploring, three years back I was blocking everything spiritual because I was scared of it all, losing Beauty cat brought the spiritual side of me out again (I was trying to find her spirit so came looking for it on forums)

Similar here, it was two and a half years ago when my Petra ( dog ) came to visit me soon after her passing. I remember the feeling that day as if i was literally floating in the air. I felt ecstatic and at peace. But most of all, I believed. I guess thats where the saying comes from, floating on cloud nine. That's when my spiritual side came out, basically for the first time. That's when I started to believe there is more to this world than just existing, and yet so much we dont know about its magic..
A large part of my heart went with her, yet now I know I shall see her again / we shall see each other again. I shall say once again, I believe.

Sometimes a loved one from the other world guides us into a new and interesting reality. Please thank your loved one for guiding you to http://www.spiritsjourney.net/ because you are very welcome to explore the spiritual here; and we are also all happy that you are exploring the spiritual under the guidance of a loved one who has guided you here. What questions does your loved one suggest as a beginning that explores the spiritual? If it is ok for this question to be asked?

It's fine to ask (if you don't ask you never learn lol), she doesn't suggest anything in particular (she never meowed in life nor is she vocal now)

When one gets to be my age they find them selves out living a lot of loved ones both animal and people. Some of them always seem to be there in spirit and some of them do not. It is funny how that is.

Since my recent posting about the loss of my Petra. Last night I dreamed I gave her a cuddle, only she hadn't passed over in my dream, as I later watched her walking ahead of me and spoke to someone, not sure who, saying, it looks like something is wrong with her, she was a bit on the wobbly side. It was as if I was dreaming of the warning sign that I missed in reality.
