Hello from me!

Hi, I have just joined your forum after browsing it a short while.
My name is Vinny and I am 38yr old male from England.
It is only in the last 8 months that I realised I even had a spiritual side, thanks to a lovely person I met through some personal counselling.
I was raised in a Roman Catholic parish but turned away from the church as a teenager, seeing God and the church as hypocritical. I still do not have any interest in religion at this current time.
I had never read a book until 8 months ago and began to read some books on spirituality, since then my interest has begun to grow and I can relate to a lot of what I have read so far (which isnt much).
I live in a town where most people including my friends and family live very unconscious lives and am finding it difficult to grow spiritually from day to day.
I also have difficulty with meditation (this may be lazyness)
To be quite honest with you all I find it a bit strange but also very beautiful the way you treat each other on here as I have never experienced this before.
I am currently planning to take a spiritual trip somewhere in January in the hope that I can surround myself with the envioronment and the people I need to help me on my journey.
I believe that I have been drawn here too for the same reason.

it's your HEART that
speaks...it doesn't matter if
anyone understands as long as you
understand why you are here or anywhere for that matter....
it sounds selfish but you have to be a little to
know how to share with others .... you know
Read our threads and join the convos and SHARE your journey...
and you can pop in for some Rest and Relaxation as most of us do...
from our hectic lives....LOL
