Everyday-courage Therapy

Post by Linda on June 11th 2010, 12:21 pm

I Hope these inspire you my friends, (-:

from the book "Everyday-courage Therapy" written by Linus Mundy

- Courage is an everyday virtue.
You can be courageous by getting out of bed in the morning
as well as by setting off to slay dragons.

~ Examine what you are telling yourself about
a feared or threatening situation or event.
You always have a choice of what you say to yourself -
and what you say will shape your feelings.

~ Your courage can be an inspiration to others,
maybe even the inspiration needed to change lives.
Don't underestimate the power of your example.

~ You can be courageous in small, measured steps.
You don't have to do everything, all at once,
full force, right away, all the way.
Do the Next thing.

~ Dreams remain only dreams
until you act to pursue your special calling.
Honor your call, and courage will accompany you.

I really like these two quotes as they fit well with my current situation in Life.

Thank you Linda, courage is a strange thing, we can show it in many ways, but when you hear of young children suffering from rare genetic illness's or any other type of life threatening illness, and you hear that they are in and out of hospital after one operation after another, I often marvel at the courage these young children show against all the odds and the pain and discomfort they must endure, now that to me is true courage.

Not forgetting the courage of our war heroes.
