After the Tornado

Post by Christine on May 9th 2010, 12:11 pm

This is an inspiring story of how well animals get along in the face of tragedy...

People have so much to learn.

The story begins with the rescuers finding this poor little guy they named Ralphie
Someone had already taken him under their wing but weren't equipped to adopt;

Ralphie, scared and starved, joined his rescuers...

I wouldn't think anything could live thru this...
But we were wrong.

This little lady also survived that wreckage.

Here she is just placed in the car - scared, but safe.

And then...they are no longer alone!

Instant friends, they comforted each other while in the car.

Add two more beagles found after that...
The more, the merrier!

Oh boy, a new traveler to add to the mix...
(note: the cat coming over the seat needing shelter...)
Now just how is this going to work??? (and remember they are all strange to one another )

It's going to work just fine, thank you very much!

Wow! The things we learn from our animal friends...
If only all of mankind could learn such valuable lessons
as this. Lessons of instant friendship. Of peace and harmony
By way of respect for one another -- no matter one's color or creed.

These animals tell you... "It's just good to be alive and with others."

Yes, it surely is.

So... Live, love, laugh.

"Life's a Gift... Unwrap It!"

So Inspiring, thank you for the post Christine. Being a dog lover reading this story brought tears to my eyes. I hope most of those rescued dogs are soon re-united with their rightful owners.

What a Valuable Lesson these animals have Taught through there Bonding. It just goes to show you that a tramatic event could bring Humanity much closer to one another overlooking, race color or creed. We are all one & very connected, not only Humans but all of Life. I think Humanity as a whole was on a very Big Ego Trip, but i think the Trip is about over, we were never superior to any species here on earth. All of Life can teach and show us something truly amazing about ourselves, and all Living Things. I myself have realized that My dog Bella, is not below me or neither am i above her in any way, she has taught me many things, & i have taught her as well. I treat her as i would any person, with Respect & Love, to me i do not see myself as a Master with her But as a Student. We can Learn many Valuable things by Opening our Minds, & Respecting all of Life.

Many Blessings

Quoting Spirit-Being : "we were never superior to any species here on earth."
Totally agree, all living creatures have the right to a decent life as much as we humans do, I was only reading yesterday of mice used for experiments in a laboratory being deliberately forced pain inducing drugs and harmful substances just so that they can prove a point that mice do feel pain the same as we do, then to sit back and watch there facial expressions as they go through the pain and agony of the after effects. Sorry but this makes me very very angry, why would anyone think that they, or any other living species would be immune to pain.

It is sad that some Life has to be subjected to experiments, although the only thing we could do is to Love & Respect all of Life, that all Living things have a purpose, and as long as we do our part, we are Living Rightly & what other people do is on them, it is their Lesson to be Learned. Hope they Learn it, but if they don't learn now, i like to think someone one day will help them see what they are doing.

Many Blessings
