My Petra's one year anniversary.

Post by Vanilla2 on April 11th 2010, 5:55 am

Today is my Petra's one year anniversary April 11th although she actually passed away on the Easter Saturday 09, so that is the day I seem to remember the most. Today I checked my e-mails and came across one from Rainbowsbridge informing me that today I am not alone, and many will be sending prayers, I feel so moved that so many who never new my Petra will be taking the time to be thinking of her on this day, even though my membership has come to an end with them.

Aww, what a lovely thing to do!
How old was Petra?
I can tell she was your best friend.

Mia she was 15 when she passed away, she was a good age, but when only two weeks previous she was "in good health" age seems irrelevant.

Thank you both Mia and Serenity-Dawn for your kinds word, yes she was happy in that photo, she was young and we were on a holiday.

Many wonder whether or not pets actually live on in Spirit & the answer is:

"Yes they do"

I have read some experiences with owners actually feeling or hearing the presence of their pets that have passed on. I think when we pass our pets will be waiting. Petra is Beautiful, and i'm sure you have felt her presence around at times. She knows you still Love Her like the day you 2 first met. She will be there to meet you, She Loves you too & wants you to be Happy Vanilla2 Dreaming

Many Blessings

Gosh yes! They do!
I have taken pit ponies along with the miners to the Light, dogs and cats, donkeys, they all go into the tunnel.

There is something good on the other side, when Petra came to visit me she was so happy, young, healthy and alive with zest, yes I do believe Mia and Spirit-Being.
Mia I will hold that thought, thank you that is such a comforting beautiful expression, "they all go into the tunnel."

Mia, I just love your new picture Wave
