Spring equinox loooove fest?

Im gonna sound like some hardcore hippie flowerchild, earth activist. But I dont care lol.

THe earth isnt happy right now. ITs changing, and how we treat it is effecting it in ways that we dont even begin to understand. Spring is a time of renewal, and birth, and growth, and sun. Its a time of healing, and birth. The days become hotter and longer, we all get more energy, and wake up after a long winter.

Im proposing that we do a collective meditation for the earth, on the spring equinox. ITs simple, we estabolish a time, and just meditate on healing the earth, and sending out messages of love.

Im assuming that working together will increase our effectiveness, and as there are members around the world, we could cover all the bases..... I just think it would be a unique experience for all involved!

Anyone intersted?

Awsome So far were up to about 20 or mabey even 40 people . Its march 20th 1:32 EST. As the date gets closer we can figure out a few more things as needed

ALright its a few days till the equinox. I had a few people asking how we are going to stay in contact with eachother. The other forum I use has a chat room, but its not 100% rprivate. Or we could do this over msn if you all have it................

Alright, so ive been thinkin. THis is something we really need to ground outselves for. Ive been doing a bit of reaserch, and some people can have a big probelm with detaching themselves when sending energy. SO that being said, here is a good way to ground ourselves.

1) Breath deep for 30 second, focus on your breath
2)Focus on your root chakra, he spot right between your legs
3) Sme people use trees, some people use mountains. But pics ture the tree growing higher and larger. Picture the roots going down, and down further and further
4)Visuilize the trees roots going into the earth cleasing waters.
5) Allow the energy to move back up into the top of the tree. SOme people see this energy as black ( not negative dont worry), or red, or multi coloured.

AFter this i charge up my chakras. There are hundreds of ways to charge em, its up to you. This should take about, 2 minutes to do, then about 3-5 minutes for the hakra charge........ Most of the time when you focus on your crown chakra, its good to let the white light come through you. Focus this light down through yuour whole being, and down through the tree, down into the earth.

Thjis white light usualy represends heavenly love, and healing. But ive read it meaning dozens of things. THis is probably th ebest energy to use. Basicaly we want to focus on large forests, clean air and water. THe earth healing fromt he inside out. WE want to visuilize a world without war, and greed. REally make the vision as reall as possible, smelling smells, hearing sounds, actualy trying to FEEL like your there. Make it really feel like its already happened.

Sounds good my friend, i have been looking forward to this Healing since i read it here for the first time. Mother Earth is Most Grateful, for what we are all about to do.

I haven't realy meditated before but this sounds very much like what I was taught when doing Tai-Chi lessons, we were taught to visualise grounding like the root of a tree, or as you say Canadianmind, visualise water or mountains. I shall go into the garden, using Tai-Chi, stand grounded like a tree and visualise my surrounding's and do my best to make our habitat and environment a better place to live in.

thats all we need to do......

I can ground myself, and charge my chakras from my livingroom, but I also use a CD that has nature sounds on it. That way it'll really feel like I'm in the middle of a forest.
